Verizon has launched new data plans for its new prepaid phone plans, which include unlimited data for the first year and 100MB of free text messaging for the next.
Verizon says the new plans include a 1GB monthly data allotment, which is $30 more than AT&t’s new $80 monthly data plan.
It also has unlimited texting on its iPhone 4S smartphone.
AT&T is rolling out a similar plan, but its iPhone 6S phone costs $200 more than the new Verizon plans.
The new plans come as AT&, Verizon and Sprint are all rolling out new smartphone plans that are offering up to 100MB data for a single user.
The new iPhone plans also come with unlimited texting for one month, which AT>ains on its $80 plan.
AT &t also is rolling its new $60 iPhone 6 plan out to its iPhone users.
Verizon’s new iPhone 6 plans include unlimited texting and unlimited data, but it does offer unlimited calls, text messaging and a $10 credit for unlimited data.
AT will offer unlimited data on its new iPhone plan, and it has not yet announced its new unlimited data plans.
The other big winner of the $80 unlimited plan is AT<a.
AT’s new plans will be available on its network starting on September 15.
Verizon and Verizon Wireless also announced the new unlimited plans, but those plans will start shipping September 15 for the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7.
